History
Across the school, we aim to provide children with a good understanding and knowledge of Britain's past and that of the wider world. We hope to inspire children's curiosity to know more about the past. In order to do this, we teach them to think critically, weigh evidence, analyse arguments, develop perspective and to ask perceptive questions. We aim to link trips and experiences to our history topics - for example in year 3 we have an Egyptian day and in year 1 we have a trip to the Hollytrees Museum as part of our Toys topic.
