What is Forest School?
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. All children at Queen Boudica from Reception to Year 6 partake in Forest School sessions every year.
Forest School at QB
At QB our Forest School leader is Mrs Parry. Mrs Parry is an HLTA who has also completed the Level 3 Certificate in Leading Forest School with the Essex Wildlife Trust.
